Grafdoer’s Commitment to Made-in-India Manufacturing

Grafdoer’s Commitment to Made-in-India Manufacturing

A lot of products carry the “Made in India” label today. For us, it has always meant something more than a country of origin.

Grafdoer has spent years building manufacturing capabilities across India because we believe the best way to create better products is to stay closely involved in how they are made.

We assess the quality of a product far ahead of it arriving in the showroom. The raw materials chosen, manufacturing methods employed, and the quality measures implemented at each stage define the ultimate product. When these factors remain tightly integrated, it allows us to have better oversight over the quality, uniformity, and durability of the product.

A Complete Range of Made-in-India Bathroom Solutions

Grafdoer’s manufacturing capabilities span across bathroom as well as kitchen solutions. While bath fittings and kitchen sinks are manufactured at Grafdoer’s manufacturing facilities at Bhiwadi, sanitary ware products are manufactured at its manufacturing unit located at Morbi.

And that’s an important consideration as each of these products require different skill sets and manufacturing capabilities.

Having dedicated facilities allows each product category to receive the focus it deserves. The requirements for manufacturing a ceramic WC are very different from those of a stainless steel sink or a faucet. By investing in specialised production environments, Grafdoer can develop deeper expertise within each category while maintaining consistent standards across the portfolio.

Why Grafdoer Chooses to Manufacture in India

Many sanitaryware brands import their products. In contrast, we manufacture each product ourselves, ensuring quality control every step of the way.

This is because direct involvement in production creates a stronger connection between design and execution. Ideas can be evaluated more effectively, improvements can be introduced more efficiently, and products can be refined through continuous learning from the manufacturing floor.

It also represents our long-term commitment to creating products rather than just sourcing them.  Manufacturing our own products enables us to oversee every step in the production process. It allows us to adhere to quality standards and findi areas for improvement.

One of the biggest benefits of manufacturing is consistency. Achieving consistency requires disciplined processes, close oversight, and continuous attention to detail throughout production.

Because Customers should be able to expect the same level of quality, finish, and performance every time they choose a Grafdoer product.

Sanitaryware Designed for Indian Homes

Manufacturing in India allows us to stay connected to the market we serve.

And that matters because Indian homes present their own set of conditions. Water quality can vary significantly from one city to another. In some regions, hard water is a daily reality. Water pressure is not always consistent, especially across different types of housing.

Homes themselves are changing too. Urban apartments often demand smarter use of space, while kitchens continue to handle heavy cookware, frequent washing, and routines that place constant demands on sinks and fittings.

Manufacturing in India allows us to design and refine products with a better understanding of the environments they will be used in.

The Road Ahead

Building manufacturing capabilities takes time. It requires investment, expertise, and a long-term view of growth.

For Grafdoer, it has been a conscious choice from the beginning. The facilities in Bhiwadi and Morbi reflect our commitment to creating products ourselves, improving them continuously, and standing behind what we make.

Manufacturing in India lets us stay connected to the homes we design for.  It allows us to understand local needs, maintain control over quality, and continue improving what we make. For Grafdoer, that is what “Made in India” truly means.
